About the webinar
Project Performance Management is the biggest cost lever for Executives.
Project Performance Management is the control of the use of resources in projects with 3 essential questions:
- Are we doing the right projects?
- Are we doing the projects right?
- What impact do our project decisions have on the post-go-live phase?
Challenges:
- Projects compete with each other, but also with other investment decisions (M&A, fixed asset investments) for monetary and human resources.
- Projects with low profitability or low impact on successful strategy implementation tie up resources that could be put to good use elsewhere.
- The inclusion of a project in the portfolio of ongoing projects is usually based on assumptions. Whether these assumptions materialize becomes apparent partly during the project, but often not until well after the project has been completed. Every decision is therefore made under high uncertainty.
- Effects of project decisions and project portfolio decisions are only realized after the end of the project.
